Passive Mode allows you to enjoy JubileeTV's essential features – remote TV control, Activity Feed and Video Calling  –  without your loved one having to learn a new remote or interface.

Why use Passive Mode?

• Perfect for: People with dementia or cognitive decline, those who have difficulty using remotes, or anyone who prefers a familiar TV experience.
• No new remotes to learn: Your loved one can keep using their familiar TV remote or even go remote-free.
• Familiar TV experience: Passive Mode eliminates JubileeTV menus and interactions except AutoConnect video calls, preserving the familiar TV experience your loved one is accustomed to. 
• Simplified setup: You can only connect one source device (cable/satellite box or streaming player), reducing complexity.
• Peace of mind for you: Provide support through Telescope, our app-based TV control, and stay informed about their viewing habits with Activity Feed.
• Effortless video calls: Start video calls with AutoConnect to make staying connected incredibly simple and worry-free.

To activate Passive Mode:

• Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the JubileeTV App
• Select "Usage Mode"
• Choose "Passive Mode"
